Your AI Systems should work as hard as you do.
We build, manage, and continuously improve the AI and data systems that power growing businesses so you get the results without managing the machinery.
AI is everywhere, but accountability is not
Businesses are adopting AI faster than ever. This includes agents, automations, dashboards, chatbots, but most of these systems were set up quickly and left to run without anyone watching.
The results are predictable:
The tools quietly break (APIs or connections change)
Outputs will silently degrade (nothing is updated or monitored)
Decisions are being made on data that nobody has verified
The problem isn’t the technology, but rather the fact that nobody owns it within the business.
An AI agent is only as reliable as the data it reads, the prompts that drive it, and the person who notices when something goes wrong. Without that layer of professional oversight, AI goes from a competitive advantage to a liability you don’t know you have.
This is happening inside your business right now
The agent that stopped working and nobody noticed.
Three months ago, you set up a ChatGPT workflow to handle customer inquiry emails, and it worked great for a while. Then your product line changed, your return policy updated, and the AI kept sending replies based on information that’s no longer accurate. Nobody on your team has the time or technical knowledge to check. It’s still running. It’s still wrong. And every inaccurate reply it sends is a customer who loses confidence in your business.
The data that lives in six places and agrees in none of them.
Your restaurant group runs Toast at the register, QuickBooks for accounting, 7shifts for labor, and three spreadsheets your ops manager built. Every Monday, someone spends two hours manually pulling numbers to figure out food cost by location. Half the time, the numbers don’t match. You know AI could help, but the data isn’t in any shape to feed it. Meanwhile, the decisions you’re making on bad data are costing you more than you realize.
The AI project that excited everyone and then faded into nothing.
You spent a week getting an AI tool set up to draft patient intake summaries, generate weekly sales reports, or automate follow-up emails. It worked well enough at first, then it started giving odd outputs. Someone changed a process and the AI didn’t know. A few people stopped using it. Nobody fixed it. Now it sits there, not being used, and the team has quietly gone back to doing everything manually. The investment didn’t fail dramatically but just evaporated.
we make Ai actually work
Basecamp Data Analytics is a managed AI and data operations partner for growing businesses. We don’t just build your systems and walk away. We build them, run them, monitor them, and keep improving them month after month.
When something breaks, we fix it before you notice.
When better models come out, we upgrade you.
When a new tool emerges that could help your business, we evaluate it, test it, and bring it to you ready to deploy.
When your business changes, we adapt your systems to match.
You experience the results. We handle everything behind them.
** Think of us as your technical team without the overhead and cost of hiring one
How we work
A clear path from assessment to ongoing operations.
01 — Assess
AI Readiness Audit
We evaluate your current data, systems, and AI tools to tell you exactly where you stand. This translates to what’s working, what’s broken, and what to prioritize. We also assess the AI landscape for your specific industry, so you know which tools are worth your time and which are noise. A clear, written report with specific recommendations. No jargon. No upsell pressure. Just an honest assessment from someone who’s built these systems professionally.
Delivered in under a week. Starting at $499.
02 — Build
AI Infrastructure Build
When the foundation needs real engineering (data pipelines, agent architecture, monitoring systems, data quality layers, etc.), we design and build it. We select the right tools from a crowded market, integrate them with your existing systems, and build the infrastructure that lets AI systems actually perform in production. We complete this with a “small business” budget in mind, without sacrificing technical capability.
Project-based. Typically 4–12 weeks.
03 — Operate
Managed AI Operations (MAIOps)
This is the core of what we do. We take full responsibility for keeping your AI systems and data pipelines running, monitored, and improving. We watch your systems so you don’t have to. When things break, we fix them. When better options emerge, we upgrade. When new tools hit the market that could benefit your business, we evaluate them and bring you the ones worth adopting. Every month, you get a clear report on what your systems did and how they performed.
Monthly retainer. Plans from $1,500/month.
who is this for?
Built for businesses that want AI to deliver, and be able to filter through the technical acceleration
We work with companies in the 10–200 employee range, those large enough to have real data and real operational complexity, but without the budget or desire to build a full internal data team. Our clients are typically in one of these situations:
-
You’ve deployed agents, automations, or AI-powered workflows, but there’s no one technical enough to evaluate whether they’re actually performing well or failing quietly.
-
Your POS, CRM, accounting software, and spreadsheets all hold pieces of the picture, but nobody has stitched them together into something useful.
-
Leadership sees the potential, but you don’t have the internal expertise to build a strategy or evaluate what’s worth investing in.
-
A dashboard nobody uses. A tool that broke after three months. An automation that was supposed to save time but created more problems. We build things that last because we stay to run them.
-
Every week there’s a new tool, a new platform, a new agent framework. You know some of it matters, but you don’t have twenty hours to evaluate which. You need someone who lives in this space to tell you what’s real, what fits your business, and what to ignore.
why basecamp?
Operators compete on trust. Builders compete on price.
AI tools are getting cheaper and easier to build every month. That’s a good thing, but it also means that building an AI system is no longer the hard part. The hard part is making it reliable, keeping it running, knowing when something is wrong before your customers do, and staying current in a landscape that launches fifty new tools a month.
That’s where we live. We’re not in the business of one-time builds. We’re in the business of managed AI-operations (MAIOps). This means owning the outcome, not just the deliverable. Every month we manage your systems, we learn more about your business, your data, and your edge cases. We track the AI landscape so you don’t have to. That accumulated knowledge is what makes us valuable, and it compounds over time.
We are not a tool or solely a dashboard provider. We’re the technical depth behind your business. This means we are the team that makes AI a durable advantage instead of an expensive experiment.
